The most beautiful beaches of Formentera

Although it is the smallest island in the Balearics, Formentera is one of the most beautiful places in Spain. It is known for its wild beauty, which makes it the ideal destination for nature lovers.

During your yacht charter in Ibiza with Amoyachts, please follow our advice and discover with us the most beautiful beaches of Formentera.

Ses Illetes / Llevant

The northern part of Formentera is the most famous of the island, where the most beautiful yachts of Ibiza can be found. It is a treasure of the Ses Salines Natural Park, protected for its wild beauty. There is the beach of Ses Illetes on one side and Llevant on the other.

The calm turquoise sea is criss-crossed by a long band of white sand. Take time to walk along this natural promenade, or enjoy the sea and discover a myriad of small fish.

Cala Saona

Located at the western end of the island, Cala Saona extends over a few hundred metres. It is an almost obligatory stop, since the landscape is so special. The blue sea is surrounded by red cliffs, which are themselves framed by a thick green area. This is the perfect setting to enjoy your Seabob rental.

Es Migjorn

Located in the centre of the island, Es Migjorn is one of the most famous beaches on the south coast of Formentera, between Cap de Barbaria and the La Mola lighthouse. It stands out from the others because of its impressive size. In fact, it extends for about six kilometres, making it the largest beach in Formentera. Its coastline varies between sandy and rocky areas.

Es Pujols

Made up of two semi-circles of thin sand separated by a small row of rocks, Es Pujols is a piece of art. The bright white sand contrasts with the blue of the sea, creating an enchanted setting.

In addition to the main beach, you will find Ses Canyes and Sa Roqueta nearby. These are two small heavenly beaches that are quite close to each other and therefore easily accessible.

Calo des Mort

Surrounded by cliffs and divided in two by rocks, Calo des Mort is a spectacular beach. A little difficult to access, its isolated character makes it a very well-preserved wild area.

The turquoise waters of Calo des Mort are ideal for diving. Luckily, most yachts in Ibiza have snorkelling equipment included in the price.
